Vauxhall international north west 200 preview – part 3
Also competing for the KMR Kawasaki powered by Vauxhall team is former motorcycle grand prix winner Jeremy Mcwilliams who was runner-up in the super-twins races at last years North west 200. BMW has a strong presence at this years North west 200 which sees the Penz 13.com BMW team running up to three riders in the superbike and superstock races.
Steve Mercer and Steven Michels will be debutants to the North west 200 this year but both have top road racing records and will both be looking to have successful debuts this year. The third rider in the Penz 13.com BMW team is seasoned Isle of Man TT competitor Herve Ganther from Switzerland.
The Ice Valley racing BMW by Motorsave ltd is one of the best up and coming road racing teams who last year achieved a podium finish at the Macau grand prix with Simon Andrews on-board. The experienced Paul Shoesmith and Hungary’s Sandor Bitter lead the teams entry into this years North west 200.
Plus also competing for the team is Branko Srdanov who is the reigning international road racing championship champion. Branko is making his North west 200 debut this year which will also include Branko making his Isle of Man TT debut.
MV Augusta are back competing at the international road races this season and there entry into the North west 200 is lead by Valmoto MV Augusta. The team managed by Jack Valentine are aiming for race wins in the two supersport races at the North west 200.
Riding for the team is Isle of Man TT winner in 2011 Gary Johnson. Gary who has been a top 5 finisher at the North west 200 is greatly looking forward to competing on the MV Augusta in the supersport races.
Manx grand prix podium finisher in 2008 Ryan Mccay is another rider to be competing on MV Augusta machinery at this years North west 200. Ryan is competing in the superbike, superstock and supersport races for the Ice MV Augusta team.
