Ultra Lightweight, Junior 600 Bouts Added To Classic TT Itinerary

Next year’s Classic TT racing itinerary, will feel more than a touch different with Ultra Lightweight, Junior 600 encounters joining the event-schedule.

Set to cater for machines such as Honda’s CBR600F, old school R6 Yamaha, GSX-R 600 Suzuki, ZX-6R Kawasaki metal, the Junior 600 category, is pre-injection-Supersport machinery focused.

Whilst the Ultra Lightweight contest (three lap distance proposed) ran concurrently aside Lightweight race competition, focuses on Supersport 400, 125 Two-Stroke steeds.

2026 Manx Grand Prix/Classic TT thrills, commence on the 16th of August with Classic race forays planned to get underway eight days later (24th of August).

As of today, the 2026 Classic TT Races schedule, reads as follows:

17th August:

Possible evening qualifying stint – described as optional

18th August:

Possible evening qualifying stint – described as optional

19th August:

Evening qualifying bouts

20th August:

Evening qualifying bouts

21st August:

Morning qualifying bouts
Afternoon qualifying bouts

22nd August:

Qualifying bouts post Manx GP races

24th August:

Historic Junior Race – Three Laps

26th August:

F1 Classic Race – Three Laps
TT-Rewind Parade Lap
Classic Sidecars Parade Lap
Lightweight/Ultra Lightweight Race – Three Laps
Junior 600 Race – Three Laps

28th August:

Historic Senior Race – Three Laps
Senior Classic Race – Four Laps
Headline Parade Lap
