Horice 2026: Race Weekend Dates Are Set

Another-day added new event dates, for 2026 road racing season, this time both held in Horice, Czech Republic.

As we previously informed, the thirty third ‘Czech TT’ edition will be inter-twined with the penultimate IRRC round (8th-9th of August).

It is now additionally known, the dates for ‘300 Curves of Gustav Havel’, edition No.63 (23rd-24th of May).

This means another unfortunate, dates clash (similar to Stare Mesto – same date as IRRC Hengelo – 2nd-3rd of May) now with Pre-TT Classic Road Races at Billown (22nd-24th of May) followed by start of qualifying for the world’s most famous road race on Earth, the Isle of Man TT from Monday 25th of May (May Bank Holiday).

Next year, 300 Curves of Gustav Havel meeting, will celebrate ninety since its’ first pre-war races in 1936 (held three-times from 1936 to 1938) and sixty-five years anniversary since first counted edition of this event at Horice in 1961.

2025 Horice action, saw the two fastest race laps in history set by new lap-record holder Erno Kostamo (2.11.416 – 2.11.403 unofficial lap-record during qualifying) and Swiss ace Lukas Maurer (2.11.780 plus unofficial personal best 2.11.688 set in qualifying).

Former record lap holder David ‘Datziii’ Datzer (2.12.041 plus 2.11.843 within qualifying in 2024) was not in Horice competition mode this year.

The two fastest ever Supersport lap times were also set this year by Petr Najman (2.14.531) and six times IRRC Supersport Champion Marek Cerveny (2.14.567).

Lets’ note at this point that next month’s Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix, provisional start-list includes six riders, known for prominent Horice racing performances, helping spread the publicity of these races, the already mentioned, 2023 IRRC SBK Champion Lukas Maurer, Erno Kostamo.

2019 IRRC SBK Champion, three times TT winner Davey Todd, French duo Amalric Blanc with Guia Circuit debutant Eddy Ferre, Belgian star Laurent Hoffmann,2025 IRRC SBK runner-up, twice IRRC Supersport Champion in 2012 and 2013 and co-founder of ESR (European Series Road Racing).

When discussing the newly created ESR Championship, we can reveal that Superbikes will be back at Horice in 2026, for both meetings.

We still await, final confirmation and more information but based on the organisers statements, it is clear now that EST-RRC (European Super Twin Road Race Challenge) will not take place in next year’s Horice racing programme, to make time-room for 1000cc races alongside IRRC Supersport/Sportbike and other categories.

All racers, spectators and all road race enthusiasts are warmly welcome at Horice events in 2026 season!
