Ulster Grand Prix 2015 – Peter Hickman Prevails In Close Fought Superbike Race

Peter Hickman was victorious in a closely fought second superbike race, at the 2015 Ulster Grand Prix.

Competing on Briggs Equipment backed S1000RR BMW, Hicky edged out Honda Racing’s Conor Cummins by just 0.028 of a second!

It’s the eighth fastest in TT history’s first international road race win, it’s set to be the first of many more to come.

Michael Dunlop ended his 2015 Ulster Grand Prix on a positive note, as he steered the Buildbase BMW superbike to third place finish.

Keith Amor on the Rig Deluge Road Racing S1000RR BMW finished an excellent fourth, as the flying Scotsman proved why many people consider him a specialist around Dundrod.

Russ Mountford recorded personal best finish in an international superbike race, following fantastic fifth place finish on Silicone Engineering Racing ZX10R Kawasaki.

Valvoline Racing by Padgetts Motorcycles Dan Kneen completed the top six.

2013 Irish road race superbike champion Derek Sheils, finished a more than creditable seventh on BikeBitsNI Racing ZX10R Kawasaki.

Sealing eighth place finish was Dean Harrison, who’s produced series of highly accomplished performances today with the Mar Train Racing YZF R1M Yamaha’s.

Daley Mathison surged to ninth place finish on Hol Taj backed GSX-R 1000 Suzuki, William Dunlop finalised the top ten finishers.
