2021 IRRC Superbike runner-up Lukas Maurer is set to ensure Switzerland has representation, at this year’s TT Races having disclosed today his intention to venture back to Manx shores.
On course throughout last year for the IRRC Superbike title, the title deciding round at Frohburg saw the leading Swiss racer involved in an incident during qualifying, which left him with head injuries.
Fortunately the quickest TT debutant of 2019 has made a swift recovery and is now looking forward to honing his already dependable real roads craft.
Speaking via Facebook, he stated the following about his TT return plus North West 200, IRRC plans:
“Big news! After actually no races were planned this season, it now looks a little different!
I will be representing Switzerland at the Isle of Man with starting number 46 and also starting at the North West 200 and the IRRC (International Road Racing Championship).
Thanks to the quick support from Kawasaki and Blau Power Bikes proving a new ZX-10R.”
