TT 2024: Seeded Line Up For Supersport Encounters Unveiled

Finally! News regarding top twenty seeded TT riders but not in relation to the category most anticipated.

Many including yours truly expected an update regarding the 1000cc races. Instead, today, it’s news on the first twenty starters for the 4-lap Monster Energy Supersport races.

First away is first time No.1 plate carrier, Jackson Racing’s Paul Jordan.

Ten seconds later, next to speed down Glencrutchery Road is KTS Racing Powered by Stanley Stewart Racing’s Jamie Coward.

In contrast to 2023, the Hebden Bridge rider will be 765 Triumph powered.

Next up on the starting order is third quickest Supersport TT exponent in history, Honda Racing’s Dean Harrison.

16 times TT victor Ian Hutchinson (Milenco by Padgetts) goes at four whilst no less than 26 TT wins cover the five, six plate holders James Hillier (Bournemouth Kawasaki Racing) and class lap record holder Michael Dunlop (MD Racing Yamaha).

The remainder of the scheduled first ten starters are Josh Brookes (Boyce Precision Engineering by Russell Racing), Davey Todd aboard the distinctive Powertoolmate Ducati, Craig Neve (Bathams Racing Triumph) and outright TT lap record holder, remaining Triumph mounted, Peter Hickman.

Conor Cummins holds the 11-plate in front of Platinum Club Racing’s David Johnson with the 13-plate assigned to Lee Johnston (Ashcourt Racing Triumph).

Respective fourteen, fifteen, sixteen plate occupiers Michael Browne (Boyce Precision Engineering by Russell Racing), SMT Racing’s Rob Hodson, BE/RK Racing’s Dominic Herbertson are all capable of attaining impressive finishes.

Three riders astride GSX-R 750 Suzuki’s follow, twice TT winner NL Motorcycles/Astro Van Centre backed Gary Johnson, Banbridge’s Shaun Anderson who is titled supported by Butterfields of Skipton and next gen roads scene ace, Jim Hind (NLC – North Lincolnshire Components).

Finalising the seeded runners is three times Manx Grand Prix winner, Michael Evans, another equipped with Triumph machinery, courtesy of Smith Racing.

Outside of the seeded riders, added notable, disclosed start numbers include Julian Trummer (22), Michal ‘Indi’ Dokoupil (24), Ryan Cringle (29), David Datzer (40) and Croatian debutant Loris Majcan (72).
