Positives, misfortune, hard luck, good publicity, the highly rated Jim Hind has had a varied TT 2024.
A fine fifth within the opening Monster Energy Supersport race, Hind astride Barry Sheene tribute liveried 750, 1000 Suzuki’s, was an early retiree in the RST Superbike, Royal London 360 Superstock races.
Swiftly commenting about TT 2024 to date, the winner of both Lightweight Manx Grand Prix races in 2019, stated:
“Set off start of the week was mint, had a good result, ever since then been downhill but that’s this place for you.
We’ll keep doing what we’re doing, keep chipping away.”
Optimistic about another strong result in today’s delayed Supersport encounter, Hind revealed that he’s potentially tackling later this year, the Steve Henshaw Gold Cup at Oliver’s Mount.
Prior to potential Scarborough action, Hind’s next upcoming roads outing will be the Manx GP.
Disclosing today his stable of event machinery, he said:
“I’ve got my TZ 250 (Yamaha), Andy Wilson’s rotary Norton (tested at Portimao), his 350 DKW and 500 Manx Norton as well.”
