We’ve reached the 100 days mark, till action commences at the world’s most famous road race, the TT Races.
14 ‘130 Mph’ club members are set to compete at TT 2023 whilst sixteen nations are represented in the solo races with overseas aces participating, including:
Newcomer, reigning Macau Grand Prix winner Erno Kostamo (Finland), Raul Torras Martinez (Spain), Julian Trummer (Austria), returning to racing duties David Johnson (Australia), Pierre Yves Bian (France), Masayuki Yamanaka (Japan), David Datzer (Germany).
Sidecars wise, six previous TT Champions feature alongside a further 10 rostrum finishers and newcomers such as Rhys Gibbons (passenger to Daryl Gibson) and Chris Schofield/Dave Ryder.
Since the entry process officially concluded, racers to confirm via social media their TT 2023 participation have included:
Bishop Castle’s Barry Furber, Anthony Redmond, Timothee Monot, Hefyn Owen, Richard Charlton, last year’s Junior Manx GP victor Francesco Curinga.
People’s Bike Team’s Jonathan Perry, Wayne Lockey/Matty Rostron, Solo/Sidecar racer all-rounder Michael ‘Jack’ Russell and former Cookstown feature race winner Forest Dunn.
Obsession Engineering’s Martin Morris, Paul Cassidy, Kevin Barsby, Amalric Blanc, Vinny Brennan are all set to step up to the TT whilst twice Irish road race Champion Keelim Ryan will make his Mountain Course racing bow, sampling the Supersport encounters.
