Beverley based Daryl Gibson is set to take on new challenges at TT 2023, as he makes his driver debut at the world’s most famous road race.
The first three years of his TT career, saw him compete alongside dad Gary, recording multiple creditable finishes including strong runs to 10th, 8th respectively in 2018.
Fast forward to this year and he was racing alongside non-other than 17 times TT winner, Dave Molyneux.
Sole KTM powered competitors, the Manx/Anglo pair went onto finish twice fourth.
An already accomplished driver, 2018 British FSRA F2 Cup Champion Gibson is now looking forward to next year’s TT, driving a brand new CES (Christie Engineering Services) outfit.
Joining him for his opening Sidecar driver TT tenure is next gen three wheeling passenger, nephew of TT rostrum finishers Alan Founds & Pete Founds, newcomer Rhys Gibbons.
No strangers to competition together, Gibson/Gibbons were on the podium at the FSRA season finale at Knockhill, after proving their credentials alongside a host of top calibre Sidecar talent.
It’s just over 160 days till TT action beckons for the youthful duo, who will be aiming to impress against the crème de la crème of modern-time, Sidecar Mountain Course heroes.
