Stepping up to the TT Races is the prime, main objective pure road racing wise in 2023 for Stephen Smith.
Runaway Senior Manx GP winner in August, Smith on route to the biggest victory of his roads career to date, lapped at 121.796 mph.
This places him comfortably amongst the top 200 quickest racers in Mountain Course racing history.
A performance nutritionist by profession, working with various esteemed Red Bull athletes, the TT dream now looms large for the Liverpool racer.
To help funding wise, Smith now based in Austria, has set-up the 97 Club.
Speaking via his Facebook racing page, he stated in detail about what this entails.
“Something new for the 2023 season – the 97 Club is open now! Giving you the chance to get involved with the team in 2023.
What is the 97 Club?
To support me as I make the step up to the Isle of Man TT – the main event for the year, you can join the club for £97 for the 2023 season.”
He continued:
“Members will receive an official 97 Club t-shirt and sticker, as well as being entered into the end of season raffle.
You can choose a number or be given one randomly! I’d like to fill 97 spaces, with each name (personal or business) going on the official club-members board. The board will be displayed at each race meeting through the year.
After a good Manx GP – I’m working hard to get everything together for a good season next year.”
