By Due to the severity of the rain falling on specific sections of the Mountain Course, the Bennetts Lightweight TT has been postponed, and all of this evening’s proposed practice sessions have been abandoned.
Coming into Wednesday, fans, racers, teams all had optimism a plenty that races would take place today, given certain positive prior weather forecasts.
Unfortunately though as has been the case on various, multiple, tens of occasions this week, the weather hasn’t exactly been dependable, reliable or consistent.
One can only sense how the event organisers are feeling, with the amount of race, practice session cancellations they had to call throughout the past 12 days.
TT Clerk of The Course Gary Thompson MBE BEM, is set to announce at 7:00 PM, how Thursday’s race schedule will shape up, with racing insiders hinting at a proposed five race itinerary.
