Finishing seventh in Road Racing News top ten riders of the 2017 pure road racing season, is IRRC Superbike Championship runner up, Marek Cerveny.
Winner of the 2015 and 2016 IRRC Supersport championship’s, Czech roads great Cerveny’s first full season of Superbike competition has proven an undoubted success.
Dominant within the Czech roads scene, he sealed feature race wins at Horice (300 Curves of Gustav Havel), Kopcany and Dymokury plus wrapped up back to back victories in the IRRC round at Horice.

Outside of local competition, added highlights of the season aboard his trusty Wepol/Safemetal Racing BMW included victory in the penultimate IRRC Superbike encounter of 2017 at Frohburg, plus podium finishes at Hengelo, Chimay and Schleizer Dreieck.
He also impressed at the North West 200, recording a brace of top five finishes, including a very creditable 12th within the opening Superstock encounter.
Regarded by many as the Czech Republic’s leading pure roads exponent, it wouldn’t at all be a surprise to see him wrap up a third IRRC title next year, this time in the marque Superbike class.
