Formidable throughout the season aboard the Herpigny Motors BMW Motorrad Belux steed, early season victories in the Netherlands and Imatranajo, were backed up by additional wins on home soil at Chimay and at Germany’s oldest street circuit, Schleizer Dreieck.
Final round of the season at Frohburg saw Sebastien do everything he had to do closely keeping tabs on nearest championship challenger Marek Cerveny, to claim a second IRRC Superbike crown.
Only the second rider alongside Didier Grams to clinch the premier class IRRC title on more than one occasion, he more’s than worthy of being regarded amongst his nations all time pure road racing greats.
Looking towards 2018 the BMW Motorrad race trophy series runner up is anticipated to challenge for a third big bike IRRC title, again on S1000RR BMW machinery.
