Tom Weeden Continuing Rapid Progress Around Oliver’s Mount

Tom Weeden continued his rapid progress around Oliver’s Mount at the Ian Watson spring cup road races with fine rides in superbike A and supersport A races. The superbike A race saw Tom for much of the race running in the top 10 and throughout was the leading supersport 600 mounted rider.

Supersport race A saw Tom qualify a fantastic third on the grid. Competing on a 675 Daytona Triumph Tom continued this form into the race keeping a up a good race pace to finish in a highly creditable 7th place. Since his debut at Oliver’s Mount at last years Ian Watson spring cup road races Tom has got better and better around the road race circuit known to many as the mini TT.

The talented rider made his Manx Grand Prix in 2013 recording a top 20 finish in newcomers A race and for this year is back and is greatly looking forward to competing for the second time on the mountain course. In all the spring cup at Oliver’s Mount proved that Tom Weeden’s ride to second place in Darran Lindsay trophy superbike race 2 at the 2013 Scarborough gold cup was no fluke.
