JRC Racing will have a two rider presence in the 2018 Dunlop Lightweight Classic TT, as rising star Joe Thompson joins leading Australian International road racer David Johnson, in piloting high spec RS 250 Honda machinery.
York’s Thompson, fifth within this years Bennetts Lightweight TT, has firmly established himself it’s fair to say this season, as a future multi times International road race winner.
Excelling in 2018 on Super Twins, Supersport machinery, he’s also in his already very successful roads career proven on many occasions, his ability on two stroke steeds.
Formidable in recent times on 250 machinery at Oliver’s Mount, he recently powered his own TZ 250 Yamaha to Lightweight class position, at the MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix.
Hugely capable in my opinion of clinching a top five finish or better this month, he’s most definitely capable of claiming a famous scalp or two aboard his new JRC Racing Honda mount, which is set to carry the #11 plate.
