17th in last years Senior Classic TT, a race winner at Belgium’s most famous roads course Chimay, plus a prominent exponent of the Colas Billown course based Pre TT Classic meeting, yesteryear machinery stalwart Will Loder is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News, ten questions challenge.
A Triumph Motorcycles engineer, his answers to the popular series of questions are as follows:
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“My Greeves Oulton. It’s been in the family since 1989.”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“I like the precision that you have to ride with on the roads. Plus I grew up going to road races with my dad so I’ve always felt very at home there.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“Alan Oversby. He’s a regular classic racer who can compete with top TT stars.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“Winning the 350 Classics race at Chimay in 2016. It was my first ever outright race win and the atmosphere at Chimay is always awesome.”
Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“Sydney, Australia. Racing across the Harbour Bridge would be pretty special.”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“My dad, John Loder.”
Q9: Supersport or Superbike?
“I’ve not raced either, but I think I’d prefer Supersport.”
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“Fastest lap. My starts are usually so bad that pole position would count for nothing!”
