Presently third within the Irish road race Superbike championship, a rostrum finisher this year at Walderstown and Enniskillen, recently crowned Newcomers A Manx GP victor Thomas Maxwell is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News ten questions challenge.

Targeting more success at next years Manx GP, his answers to the popular series of questions are as follows:

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?

“Tandragee, cause that’s a brilliant circuit, lovely and fast. I like them all but Tandragee would be my favourite one.”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“Oh the ZX10 Kawasaki, I bought that this year, love that machine.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“You get a great buzz out of it especially when your going well, the people too you get great support, like from Facebook.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“Course wise, oh the Mountain Course, best thing I’ve ever done.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“That’s a tricky one, Graham Candie, had a few good ding dongs with him.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“Winning the Newcomers Manx Grand Prix.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“Australia, loads of work there, there’s good money and you could do it really right over there. I was working over there before, I would ship myself over there if there was road racing straight away, lots of money on offer!”

Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?

“Michael Dunlop, definitely.”

Q9: Supersport or Superbike?

“Superbike”

Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?

“Fastest lap”
