15th in last years Senior Manx Grand Prix, a rostrum finisher at Killalane, plus an accomplished exponent of Skerries and Oliver’s Mount, East Ardsley’s Steven Procter is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News, ten questions challenge.
Racing in recent years under his own teams Rigsby Racing banner, his answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows:
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“Tandragee 100 is the best national that I’ve raced at.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“Best bike that I’ve raced is my Yamaha R6. Overall favourite racing bike though, is the Honda NSR 500.”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“Just been part of a group of people, who love the same thing.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“Manx Grand Prix as not yet competed at the TT.”
Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“Andy McPherson, as he’s the guy who helped me get where I am, from my 1st race in 2009.”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“I’d say lapping at 118.8 mph, on the last lap of the 2017 Senior Manx GP.”
Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“Be great to see another one in Yorkshire, alongside Oliver’s Mount.”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“There’s a few but Bruce Anstey is just a class act.”
Q9: Supersport or Superbike?
“Supersport as I’ve not yet ridden a Superbike.”
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“Fastest lap every time.”
