Runner up in the Newcomers A Manx Grand Prix of 2016, 28th in last years sole Monster Energy Supersport TT race, leading Austrian road racer Julian Trummer, is the next rider to take part in Road Racing News, ten questions challenge.
Part again of the DP Coldplaning/TC Racing set up at TT 2018, Julian’s answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows:
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“I’m participating in a hill climb race in Austria in a few weeks time, which is taking place in Landshaag, I’ve never done it before but I’m looking forward to it.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“The new Yamaha R6 RJ 27, fantastic bike!”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“The buzz you get when you’re getting close to houses and walls at 150 plus mph. It just feels like you’re doing something the humans aren’t built for. It’s surreal.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“Have only competed so far at the TT, but I’m pretty sure that’s my favourite. Aiming to compete in the future at the North West 200 and Ulster GP.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“An Austrian bloke called Geri Gesslbauer, he even builds my bikes. Really nice and helpful guy!”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“Finishing runner up in the 2016 Newcomers A Manx Grand Prix.”
Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“The F1 circuit in Monaco, would be cool to race on.”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“Many, Michael Dunlop, Gary Johnson, Cameron Donald.”
Q9: Supersport or Superbike?
“Supersport”
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“Both!”
