Steven’s answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows:

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?

“The Southern 100, it’s a good meeting, always has a good atmosphere and Billown is a challenging circuit.”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“Suzuki GSXR 600 K1, was the only bike I ever named and I was very attached to it, most of the time.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“When your actually racing you don’t have time for much thinking, so I’d say the best part is the buzz you get before you start and after you finish.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“I have never been to Ireland even though on a sunny day we can see it from the Isle of Man, I must make the trip, so I would have to say the TT, its when the Island comes alive.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“I would say my girlfriend Ali (Foster), as I would never want her to beat me in a race.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“My first ever lap of practice at the Manx GP in 2013 going through Union Mills laughing in my helmet, that’s all I remember of the lap but it was an amazing experience.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“I would like to see the Jurby road meeting again, it’s a shame it stopped just before I had a chance to race it.”

Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?

“David Jefferies, just seemed to enjoy his racing, always had a smile and a wheelie, and also obviously Joey Dunlop, both great characters.”

Q9: Supersport or Superbike?

“I never enjoyed the big bikes as much as the Supersport ones, the Supersport races always seem more fun to watch.”

Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?

“I think getting your fastest lap is always the main challenge, but it is still nice to see the front of the grid.”
