Ten Questions Challenge – Paul Baleta

Eighth, ninth within the Senior, Super Twin Manx GP races of 2014, 25th in the following year’s Bennetts Lightweight TT, talented long term Mountain Course exponent Paul Baleta is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News, worldwide popular ten questions challenge.

Lead Ducati mounted racer in the inaugural Formula 1 Classic TT from 2013, his answers to the popular series of questions are as follows:

“Classic TT/Manx GP”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“The speed, thrill, rush, danger.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“TT, only one I’ve done.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“Warren Verwey. We were in the same class in Primary school, don’t see or hear from each other in 28 years and then land up meeting on this wee island in the Irish sea to race motorbikes.

2014 Manx GP Senior race we were head to head and raced together on the roads. What a rush!”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“The 2013 Classic TT F1 race.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“Austria, now my home, awesome roads.”

“Ian Hutchinson/John McGuinness”
