2017 Newcomers B Manx GP runner up, a rostrum finisher at the Paeroa battle of the streets meeting, leading next gen New Zealand roads competitor Ben Rosendaal, is the next rider to take part in Road Racing News, ten questions challenge.
The Whangamata based racer, answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows:
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“Paeroa battle of the streets, but also a fan of an event called the Cliffhanger Hill Climb, at present yet to compete at it.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“My Yamaha MTO7, that I’ve got now. But anything with two wheels I’ll rail it.”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“Think all the people involved in road racing are like minded, no egos, do it for the love of it and the buzz. So answer would have to be all the mates I’ve made over the years.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“TT it’s the pinnacle of motorcycle racing in the world.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“Everyone I’m racing against. But Nick Southerwood and Rob Whittall would have to be the rivals, I enjoy beating.”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“Has to be finishing 2nd in the Manx GP Newcomers B race last year, and then getting a top 20 result in the Super Twins race.”
Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“More road races in New Zealand. Not on tight street circuits like we have at present.”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“Joey Dunlop, what a legend.”
Q9: Supersport or Superbike?
“Superbike, there just crazy to race, take my hat off to the people who can master racing them.”
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“Pole position, makes it easier to try to win the race.”
