Superbike Classic TT GP1 class winners Team York Suzuki have confirmed their entry, for the 67th Gold Cup meeting at Oliver’s Mount.
Leading the outfit’s Gold Cup challenge is Scarborough team mainstay Peter Boast, who will be piloting the same Suzuki that David Johnson took to 4th within the Motorsport Merchandise Superbike Classic TT.
Vastly experienced, Market Rasen’s Boast has chalked up this year with Kevin Pearson’s outfit, a string of top class results.
This includes finishing runner up in both of the Classic Superbike encounters, at the Cock O’The North Road Races.
Speaking of the changes machinery wise, for Boastie’s latest upcoming Scarborough venture with Team York Suzuki, part of a team statement on the outfit’s Facebook page said:
“It will be the first time Peter has ridden the bike (Davo Johnson’s Classic TT mount) with its major modifications which were carried out after his suggestions from earlier in the season, the bike will also have the more powerful TT engine, come and see us in the paddock we have plenty of posters and stickers for you all.”
