By Team KSM are set for their first venture onto the roads scene, with Welshman Matthew Rees.
Firmly established amongst Wales leading roads exponents, 2016 has seen Matthew continue to move his way up the pure road racing ladder.
Standout moments of the year have included, third position in the Welsh open at Aberdare Park, plus series of highly creditable results at TT 2016, including 30th place finish in the Royal London 360 Quantum Superstock race.
Set next year for his third TT Races campaign, his 2017 schedule also includes returns to the North West 200, Ulster Grand Prix, plus participating in all rounds of the Irish road race championship.
It’s not yet known at present as to Matt’s machinery line up for next season, although Kawasaki machinery, looks a distinct possibility.
Team KSM, ran by Kickstart Motorcycles are hugely looking forward, to their first full scale voyage into roads action.
Although they are a new roads team, with Matt Rees experience, plus sheer enthusiasm, don’t at all be surprised to the all new rider/team combination, secure many a notable result or two next year.
