Team Classic Suzuki’s All Star Classic TT Line Up

Team Classic Suzuki have a all star line up, for the 2016 Superbike Classic TT race.

13 times TT winner Michael Dunlop, is anticipated to lead the teams challenge, as he bids for a third classic TT success on XR69 Suzuki machinery.

Last year saw the Mountain Course lap record holder win a gripping formula 1 race, as with everywhere he competes he will be very hard to beat.

Team mate Lee Johnston, may not be regarded as a classic racing specialist, but he has showed in recent years at the Classic TT in particular on the Black Eagle Racing MV Agusta’s, that he is a force to be reckoned with.

Completing Team Classic Suzuki’s three rider line up is 1993 formula 1 TT winner Nick Jefferies.

A stalwart of the Mountain Course, Nick is still as competitive as ever, showcased by his excellent third place finish in the 2015 Super Twins Manx Grand Prix.

Commenting on his teams 2016 Classic TT challenge, Team Classic Suzuki, Team Owner Steve Wheatman said:

“The Classic TT has grown every year since its introduction in 2013 and we have been happy to support it each year.

We’ve experienced both success and disappointment in that time, but as reigning champions in the Superbike class, we are fully committed to defending that position and off the back of an incredible TT, Michael Dunlop is definitely the man for the job.

Lee Johnston is back to full fitness after a crash earlier in the year will challenge for a podium place and in Nick Jefferies we have a real legend of the TT in our line up who adds a lot of experience to the team.”
