Supersport Class Conqueror Hoffmann Joins IRRC Superbike Entry

Twice IRRC Supersport Champion Laurent Hoffmann has confirmed that he will be joining the IRRC Superbike ranks in 2020, piloting GSX-R 1000 Suzuki machinery for DLF Racing.

Runner-up to Matthieu Lagrive in the most recent IRRC Supersport Championship’s, the amiable Hoffmann is rightly regarded amongst Belgium’s leading pure road racing exponents of the 21st century.

At a glance highlights from his most recent real roads campaign included a race win at Terlicko plus rostrum finishes at all IRRC events.

Additionally he went onto star at the Ulster Grand Prix, finishing leading newcomer to the world’s fastest road race.

Keen to return to Dundrod in the near future, his 2020 race plans alongside IRRC Superbike action include taking in the iconic 300 Curves of Gustav Havel meeting at the Czech Republic’s most famous roads course, Horice.

As showcased at Dundrod, Hoffmann has the undoubted credentials to be a regular contender for quality finishes within the blue riband Superbike class and he’s certain to be one to watch at IRRC meets in 2020.

Reminder IRRC (International Road Racing Championship) action for 2020 begins in just under three months time in the Netherlands at the Hengelo based Varsselring (9th-10th May).
