James Cowton enjoyed a successful Armoy road races debut. Opening supersport race and following a brilliant performance throughout James brought home his own teams CBR 600 Honda in sixth position.
250 race would provide the rising road racing star with his first podium finish at Armoy. Third place finish on Pete Berwick’s TZ250 Yamaha was acquired following a great ride.
Super twins race beckoned and having qualified on pole position James on Ken Dobson’s ER6 Kawasaki looked set to be in the mix at the front. This was to be the case as the rider currently second in Duke road race rankings championship went onto record his second podium finish of the day with another third place finish.
Overall James impressed greatly on his debut at Armoy proving why he is regarded as a future TT winner. Coming up soon will be the Ulster Grand Prix where the third place finisher in 2014 lightweight TT will be looking for more excellent results across all classes.
