First formed during the early 1950’s, the Stare Mesto Road Races, commonly known as the ‘Old Town’ meeting, remains one of the foremost fabric layers of Czechia road-racing.
Clashing with the FonaCAB & Nicholl Oils North West 200, the latest event edition (13th-14th May) featured races for yesteryear, three wheeling, four-stroke, Super Twin machines.
Competitors to bank class victories included Irish roads regular, enthusiastic German road racer Chris Meyer.
Meyer sped to 125 (B) race spoils, finishing one lap in front of respective second, third place finishers Lubomir Kamenar, Tomas Parus.
Petr Najman, Patrik Horak led the Supermono, Supersport 400 classes whilst another seasoned Czech-roads participant Marek Zima, edged out Matyas Kapral for Sport Production 125cc honours.

Johann Furbock (Classic 750 A), Matej Mohler/Adam Kostiuk (Sidecars).
