Spring Cup National Road Races To Mark Downshift Motorsport’s Road Racing Debut

The 2015 Spring Cup National Road Races will mark Downshift Motorsport’s pure road racing debut.

They are set to run Oliver’s Mount newcomer Dan Hegarty in supersport races on a ZX6R Kawasaki, the 20th place finisher in opening supersport race at TT 2012 has been aiming for many years to compete around the mount.

Action in senior and super twin races is also set to happen for Dan who alongside competing for Downshift motorsport will also be competing on Ian Lougher racing’s ZX10R Kawasaki and Brian Scott racing’s ER6 Kawasaki.


Following the spring cup Dan and Downshift motorsport’s next pure road race outing is set to be at TT 2015.

Main highlight of TT 2014 for Dan was highly creditable 21st place finish in superstock race.

Armed with top class machinery for superbike, supersport, superstock, lightweight and senior races expectations are high for Hego as he bids at TT 2015 to secure personal best lap speeds across all classes alongside targeting top quality results.
