Southern 100: Practice/Race Schedule

Not long to go now till the ‘Friendly Races’ the Southern 100 bursts back onto real roads scene.

Competition gets underway on Monday evening, with opening timed practice sessions for all classes.

In total 15 races are scheduled to take place including the coveted nine-lap Solo Championship, won the
past three times by DAO Racing’s Dean Harrison.

Alongside 23 times S100 winner Harrison, lots of focus next week will also be on high-profile event returnee
Davey Todd, Supersport TT lap record holder Michael Dunlop, FHO Racing’s Pete Founds/Jevan Walmsley and recent first-time TT podium finishers Paul Jordan, the Crowe brothers Ryan & Callum.

The full practice/race schedule for this year’s Southern 100, which celebrates 67 years since it first hosted closed roads action, reads as follows:

11th July:

Practice sessions

6:18-6:25 PM – Newcomers lap
6:26-6:40 PM – Superbike
6:47-7:01 PM – Lightweight – red plates
7:29-7:43 PM – Supersport – white plates
7:50-8:04 PM – Supersport – yellow plates
8:11-8:25 PM – Superbike
8:32-8:46 PM – Lightweight – green plates
8:53-9:10 PM – Sidecars

12th July:

Practice sessions

6:18-6:30 PM – Solo Non Qualifiers
6:37-6:49 PM – Supersport – white plates
6:56-7:08 PM – Supersport – yellow plates
7:15-7:32 PM – Sidecars

8:00 PM – Lightweight – 6 laps
8:35 PM – Senior – 7 laps

13th July:

6:25 PM – Senior – 7 Laps
7:05 PM – Supersport B – 7 Laps
7:40 PM – Supersport A – 7 Laps
