Good news for Billown course racing fans, long-term supporters, Manx Radio will remain on board as broadcast partner for events through to 2030.
The new deal comprises guarantees prime-time radio coverage over the 2024-2030 period for the ‘Friendly Races’ the Southern 100 and the upcoming Pre-TT Classic Road Races.
Commenting about this subject, Southern 100 Racing Race Secretary/Club Chairman George Peach stated:
“The Club are incredibly pleased that we have been able to agree to continue Manx Radio’s superb coverage of our now two races held annually on the Colas Billown Course for another five years which takes and including 2030.
The live coverage provided every year enhances everyone’s experience of the friendly races, be they around the course watching or listening on their radios or these days on various apps not only here on the Island, but nowadays worldwide.”
Managing Director for Manx Radio, Chris Sully added:
“The whole team at Manx Radio is so proud to be part of such a fabulous and unique event. The Southern 100 really does represent the best of what the Island is all about and it’s even more special in this, Manx Radio’s 60th anniversary year, that we renew our close relationship with the team from the friendly Races.”
