By Earlier this week, a true stellar all-round member of the pure road racing community, was honoured with the lifetime achievement accolade at the 2024 Isle of Man Sports award evening.
The person that we are talking about here is Southern 100 racing supremo, George Peach.
More than 40 years associated with the ‘Friendly Races’, he’s been deputy chief club marshal, race secretary, Southern 100 racing Chairman, President.
People like him are selfless individuals that quietly, actively make a huge contribution in maintaining roads scene action on the Isle of Man.
Quick reminder, the 2024 Isle of Man Steam Packet Company title sponsored Southern 100, runs from the 8th-11th of July.
Racers confirmed to return to Castletown include works Honda rider Nathan Harrison, Senior Manx GP winner Joe Yeardsley, Adrian Kershaw, and Cowton Racing’s Gareth Arnold.
