Armoy Latest: Entry Process Opens, Sponsorship Push

2024 Armoy Road Races entry process unlocked; racers are now officially able to place entries in for July’s Irish Road racing showpiece.

Reminder competition at the Bayview Hotel title sponsored ‘Race of Legends’ unfolds from the 26th-27th of July.

Fourteen races feature in the meetings’ itinerary including an additional Super Twins race for which title sponsorship reigns are still up for grabs. Same applies for Classic Superbike, Supersport races.

Commenting about the push for extra sponsors for specific races, AMRRC (Armoy Motorcycle Road Racing Club) Chairman, Clerk of The Course William Munnis, stated:

“This year we are expecting a strong entry from the riders. And with the addition of a new race on the Friday night, it is gearing up to be one of our busiest yet. As always, we are indebted to so many local companies that have supported us by sponsoring a race, especially our title sponsor, the Bayview Hotel.

This year we’ve a few races still requiring a sponsor and it’s a great opportunity for interested sponsors to get their business involved with the Armoy Road Races.

Our sponsors will have their name associated with the race, a full-page advert in the programme, exposure on our social media channels, information included on our website, VIP tickets for the corporate hospitality marquee with a bespoke viewing area which is one of the best ways to enjoy the racing.

Our programme packages also include a vehicle parking pass and a limited-edition event lanyard which enables spectators to enter vantage points around the circuit which are situated on privately owned land.”

Going onto chat about Armoy TV coverage, produced by Greenlight Television, set to air on the BBC and ITV4, he said:

“We’re looking forward to having BBC Sport NI and ITV 4 onboard, which gives us a great platform to highlight the beautiful north coast while showcasing the immense amount of talent that will be taking part in this year’s races.

Planning is well underway and we’re keen to tie down these final few races. As a Club, we would like to encourage all local businesses to consider lending their support to what is truly a legendary event that puts our local community firmly on the global stage.”
