JCK Ltd Supersport B Race:
Quickly taking place after the Ellan Vannin Fuels Senior race, the JCK Ltd Supersport B race provided excitement and some, with countless race changes, great overtakes, and most of all high quality Supersport action.
Back in ninth place at the end of lap 1, Glastonbury’s Lee Hembury went onto claim in dramatic fashion race honours.
Part of a seven-rider battle for class spoils, Mountain Course regular Hembury just had enough pace, gritty race craft to keep at bay the attentions of prospective Manx GP debutant Frankie Stennett, who finished 0.773 behind the delighted first time Southern 100 race winner.

KY-JAX Racing’s Ben Shuttlewood concluded the podium finishers, as Mike Mace, early race leader Don Gilbert and Billown newcomer Daniel Forbes rounded out the top six finishers.
Placing’s 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th in a truly thrilling Supersport encounter were respectively claimed by Rad Hughes, Alan Johnston, Mike Brew and Jack Fowler.

Radcliffe Butchers Supersport A Race:
Just holding off the tenacious, persistent challenge of long term race leader, PreZ Racing’s Jamie Coward, Dean Harrison made it 20 Southern 100 victories following another enthralling Supersport race on the Billown course.
Harrison and Coward who both topped the 110 mph lap mark, were separated at the end of the seven lap race, by only 0.416 of a second.

Race victor Harrison was full of praise for Hebden Bridge’s Coward, who in turn was pleased with his performance but admitted post race his plan for a final lap charge for victory spoils, didn’t work out as intended.
Joining Silicone Engineering Racing’s Harrison, Coward on the Radcliffe Butchers Supersport race podium was early race leader, Wilcock Consulting supported Michael Evans, who got the better of fellow Manxman Nathan Harrison in the battle for the final spot on the rostrum.
Davies Motorsport’s Dominic Herbertson acquired a very creditable fifth place finish, Michael Sweeney placed sixth as seventh, eighth place finishers Sam West, Joe Akroyd also enjoyed productive race stints.
Wrapping up the top ten finishers was last year’s S100 Senior race victor Rob Hodson, and Richard Charlton.
