Senior TT winner Dean Harrison made it three wins from three starts at this year’s Southern 100, having emerged victorious from another top draw battle for Supersport spoils with PreZ Racing’s Jamie Coward.
Evenly matched throughout the seven lap S&S Motors Supersport encounter, Harrison began to edge slightly away from Coward on lap 5, with 0.648 covering the ZX-6R Kawasaki, YZF R6 Yamaha mounted racers.
Harrison’s race lead was soon trimmed back by a determined Coward, who got Harrison’s lead down to only 0.435 at the end of lap six.
Come the completion of the seven lap race, despite Coward’s best efforts he had to settle for second place behind Harrison, finishing only 0.268 behind the now 21 times Southern 100 race winner.
