By Smiths Racing are targeting series of star quality results during TT 2016.
TT 2015 marked the second time the team had competed at TT Races. David Johnson lead the teams challenge in superbike, superstock and senior races.
Main highlights of race week for David included sixth place finish in Royal London 360 superstock TT, top ten finishes in Monster Energy supersport races.
Ninth place finish in Pokerstars senior TT, plus lap speed of 131.595 mph, which makes him Australia’s fastest competitor around the mountain course.
Prior to TT 2015 many people where wondering how competitive Guy Martin, would be on the Smiths Racing 675 Daytona Triumph.
He went onto provide the team with their second podium finish at TT Races, following third place finish in Monster Energy supersport TT race 2.
Looking to TT 2016, 11 times TT winner Michael Dunlop has been mentioned as a possible rider for the team, however this looks at this moment in time, a very distant possibility.
Further riders in contention for rides with Smiths Racing include ninth fastest rider in TT history David Johnson, plus Guy Martin could link up with them again, for supersport TT action.
