2013 Irish road race superbike champion Derek produced a top class performance on BikeBitsNI Racing ZX10R Kawasaki, to emerge triumphant by just 0.448 of a second over Tyco BMW’s William Dunlop.
The peoples bike team’s Alan Bonner continues his excellent form with strong third place finish, the 2010 Irish road race senior support champion is showing at this moment in time why he is considered one of the most improved riders in pure road racing.
Whilst Derek Mcgee showed his proven quality around Skerries with highly creditable fourth place finish, on his own teams ZX10R Kawasaki.
John Walsh sealed impressive fifth place finish, as Seamus Elliott finalised the top six finishers.
Third place finisher in 2014 junior Manx Grand Prix Andy Farrell was seventh, Alan Connor a good eighth, Thomas Maxwell was ninth, rising road racing star Paul Jordan completed the top ten.
Michael Dunlop back in action for the first time since TT 2015 was a retirement during the race on his own teams S1000RR BMW.
