Scintillating Second Supersport Race At North West 200

Second supersport race at the 2015 Vauxhall International North West 200 produced one of the best races we’ve seen around the triangle for multiple years.

Following another performance of the highest quality Alastair Seeley fired his way to his 14th success around the triangle.

The Tyco Security Products backed GSX-R 600 Suzuki proved to be the ideal tool for the job for Alastair who edged out second and third place finishers Glenn Irwin and Lee Johnston.

For Glenn Irwin second place finish was a quite sensational result, the Gearlink Kawasaki rider has adapted exceptionally to the Portstewart based road race circuit.

Lee Johnston was happy with third place finish as he showcased the potential of East Coast Racing’s 675 Daytona Triumph.

William Dunlop on the Ivan Curran/CD Racing YZF R6 Yamaha finished an excellent fourth as William proved why he is considered one of the pre race favourites for the upcoming supersport TT races.

Keith Amor sealed brilliant fifth place finish following a highly accomplished performance on Rig Deluge backed CBR 600 Honda.

Dean Harrison showed true grit and determination in piloting the Mar Train Racing YZF R6 Yamaha to sixth place finish.

John McGuinness finished in seventh place as James Hillier competing on Quattro Plant Kawasaki’s supersport machine finished a highly respectable eighth.

Completing the top ten finishers where Ben Wilson impressing hugely and Michael Rutter who made it three Gearlink Kawasaki’s in the top ten.

Further standout performances included Derek Mcgee finishing in 12th place, Daley Mathison finishing a fine 16th, Tom Weeden in 17th place and James Neesom securing top 20 placing.

Fabulous, exciting, dramatic are three words to describe todays supersport race at North West 200 which provided Alastair Seeley with his 14th North West triumph.
