Guy Martin took race victory in the 2nd leg of the Darran Lindsay Trophy on the Tyco Suzuki by TAS superbike in a race that although seemed a straight forward race win for the rider from Kirmington was a hard fought race that was a tight one as well that took place in all round dry conditions. Dean Harrison pushed Guy all the way to the line finishing in second place on the ever immaculately turned out RC Express racing Kawasaki superstock bike. 3rd place went to John Mcguinness riding for Padgetts once again at the Scarborough Gold Cup John showed his trademark smooth riding style around Oliver’s Mount today, it always helps to be smooth around a circuit like Oliver’s Mount as its tight and twisty where you can’t make any mistakes.
4th place in the Darran Lindsay Trophy 2nd leg superbike race went to Jamie Hamilton on the KMR Kawasaki supertock bike. Bruce Anstey took a good 5th place in the 2nd superbike race of the weekend, riding for Padgetts racing again but this time at Oliver’s Mount for the first time in ten years Bruce’s race results where brilliant considering the length of time that its been since Bruce was last at Oliver’s Mount which was in 2003. 6th place went to Ian Lougher, 7th place went to Oliver’s Mount specialist Mick Goodings. David Hewson took 8th place riding for the first time on a roads circuit his newly acquired Aprilla RSV4 whilst Jules Croft took ninth place with Gary Graves rounding out the top 10 in the race.
