Martin Harrison was literally closer to the hedge in opening super twins race at the 2014 Scarborough gold cup. The rider who made his Manx Grand Prix debut in 2013 provided one of the iconic pictures of action around Oliver’s Mount in 2014
ER6 Kawasaki mounted Martin went onto secure hugely respectable 11th place finish, classic superbike races saw him achieve excellent 6th and 4th place finishes.
The 2014 road racing season Martin felt was his best season of pure road racing to date following good performances at Barry Sheene road race festival, classic TT races, Manx Grand Prix and Scarborough gold cup.
