Competing on Paul Bird motorsport ZX10 Kawasaki Stuart hadn’t competed at the iconic road race since 2011, despite this he very quickly was back up to speed in practice before sealing pole position by a comfortable margin.
In the race he gradually built up his advantage over nearest challengers Michael Rutter, Lee Johnston, Martin Jessopp and Gary Johnson, the gap in the end at the front saw the hugely talented rider victorious by over 12 seconds.
