Twice Manx Grand Prix winner Jim Hind kick started his 2022 racing campaign, in stellar fashion at the Thundersport GB season opener at Brands Hatch, proving the main force at the helm of the 600 Sportsman Elite
field.
Hind racing the NLC Components supported R6 Yamaha, post finishing fastest in qualifying, went onto secure a hat-trick of race victories.
The opening middleweight class race stints saw Hind finish both times over 9.5 seconds clear of the chasing pack.
Additionally emerging on top from a keenly contested final 16 lap 600cc encounter, Hind proved last weekend why many are tipping him for great things in the future.
No.31 plate holder for this year’s Monster Energy Supersport TT Races, he’s a dark horse in my opinion for strong results.
Added competitors to have circulated throughout the past weekend at Brands Hatch, that are known to real roads followers, super-fans, aficionados included:
Marcus Tatchell, GP2 Super Twins Race three winner, GP Originals front runner Gary Vines.
DC Racing’s Mike Norbury, Welshman Rhys Hardisty, Don Gilbert and prospective TT Races newcomer, Craig Szczypek.
