Elite New Zealand street racing names taking in last weekend’s Southern Race Series meet at Mike Pero Motorsport Park, included Helicraft Racing’s Seth Devereux.
Five times a race winner at last year’s Greymouth Street races, Wanaka’s Devereux took on Sunday opening Supersport race spoils, before settling for second in the corresponding middleweight class encounter behind respected fellow 600 exponent Dale Finch.
Reflecting via Facebook about concluding his latest racing campaign with first rate results, Devereux stated:
“Had a great end to the season. Learned some more about our pretty little Italian girl (MV Agusta). Couldn’t hold onto Dale Finch but who can at the moment.
Huge thanks to Rod Price, Peter H Donaldson and Phil from Helicraft Racing for believing in me and working so hard through a very tough season.”
Alongside 600 machinery pace setters Devereux, Finch, added NZ roads stars enjoying successful race stints on Sunday included Invercargill Street Races front runner Jonny Lewis, Dennis Charlett and former Mountain Course Thunder winner Andrew Rudd.
