Preston’s Lewis Arrowsmith, is so, so close to becoming the 2023 No Limits Racing, Super Twins Champion.
The latest No Limits rounds, taking place at the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit, yielded race wins times three for 2022 Manx GP entrant Arrowsmith, who’s race wins total for this year, stands now at seventeen!
139 points ahead of top Championship chaser Jacob Stephenson, Arrowsmith needs a fifth-place finish or better from the opening Twins race, at the next series round at Oulton Park, to clinch the No Limits Twins title.
Outside of Arrowsmith, who has lapped the fabled, mythical Mountain Course at over 114 mph, the past weekend’s Brands GP action featured fellow Scarborough regular Russell Brook, Obsession Engineering’s Martin Morris, 2022 Aberdare Park Welsh Open Champion Ryan Dixon and TT 2023 exponent Jorge Halliday.
Open about wanting to tackle the TT Races again in 2024, Halliday’s latest purpose-built circuit racing stint saw him sweep to back-to-back victories, in the Tamworth GYTR Pro Shop Cup 600 category.
Another new to the roads scene this year, securing race wins last weekend was Cut in Edge Decorating supported Ricky Martin, CB 500 class conqueror on three occasions.
