Road Racer’s Adventures: French Superbike Championship, Le Mans

The International road racing presence at the season opening French Superbike Championship round, at Le Mans was led by a selection of three wheeling Mountain Course favourites.

Eight times TT podium finisher Tim Reeves competing alongside Kevin Rousseau, enjoyed a successful start to his 2021 racing campaign with a second place finish in the opening Sidecar encounter, backed up by taking honours within the second 13 lap race stint.

One of Sidecar racing’s all time greats, it worth mentioning again that Reeves alongside aforementioned strong TT results has an impeccable World Championship racing resume.

Eight times World Champion, his most recent World title success arose in 2018 with the highly rated Mark Wilkes, who is Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough bound this year with new team mate Harry Payne.

Outside of Yamaha powered Reeves, added drivers/passengers carrying more than adequate TT Racing CV’s in action at Circuit Bugatti (Le Mans) included Remy Guignard/Frederique Poux, Paul Leglise, Francois Leblond and TT 2017 Susan Jenness Trophy winner Estelle Leblond.
