Following last year’s record breaking, history making Gold Cup meeting, 141 racers have taken a heat, class, overall race victory from competitive action at Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough since 2010.
With six victories at the 69th Scarborough Gold Cup, Dean Harrison’s victories total at England’s sole closed roads course, now stands at a very impressive 94, just six shy of the 100 wins mark.
Others to enhance last September their Scarborough victories total included Super Twins lap record holder, Jamie Coward (14 wins), Joe Thompson (16 wins), Julian Tillotson (3 wins).
Reigning back to back Steve Henshaw Gold Cup Champion Lee Johnston (16 wins), new sensation at North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’ Jim Hind (6 wins) and three wheeling King Pins Lee Crawford (13 wins), Scott Hardie (10 wins).
