Road Racer’s Adventures: FIM Enel MotoE World Cup, Le Mans

Avintia Esponsorama Racing’s Andre Pires made it back to back points finishes in the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup series, following a tenacious performance during this afternoon’s seven lap race at Circuit Bugatti, Le Mans.

As at Jerez Portugal’s most recent TT Races competitor went onto place a creditable 12th in the final race standings, finishing just over 0.13 clear of Avintia Esponsorama Racing team mate Xavi Cardelus.

Happy with his latest MotoE outing, Pires is steadily growing in stature in the newest Grand Prix Racing class.

Speaking via Facebook about today’s French GP race action, he stated:

“What a great experience here at Le Mans. Finishing this second race of the season and scoring points again is extremely positive. Thank you all for your great support and thank you so much team.”

The next electric race outing for Pires sees him venture back next month to Spain (Catalan Grand Prix 6th June), taking in the illustrious Barcelona based Catalunya Circuit.
