Close to one month after tackling the Daytona 200, four times Northwest 200 winner Richard Cooper was back last Sunday on UK racing duty, sampling the season opening EMRA (East Midlands Racing Association) round at Mallory Park.
599 Kawasaki mounted, Cooper dominated the Supersport/Allcomers, Mallory Trophy races, capturing a resounding quadruple of race victories.
Fellow countryman Forest Dunn, astride his eye catching own-team machines, made an above competent opening to his 2024 racing explorations.
Dunn, who’s current PB lap speed stands at 125.435 mph, took 4 top four finishes, the best of which been third in the first Mallory Trophy race stint.
Fortunes also shone brightly for Peoples Bike Team’s Jack Petrie, runner-up times two from the Classic Era races.
Petrie’s first roads scene outing of 2024, arises this weekend at Scarborough, for the eagerly anticipated Bob Smith Spring Cup.
