Wigan’s Josh Daley illustrated again his prowess of the tight, twisty Darley Moor circuit on Sunday, powering to three successive race victories.
Nine times a top fifty TT finisher, Daley’s dominance at his most recent Darley Moor meet was showcased by the fact that he emerged at minimum 4.8 seconds in front of the chasing pack, within the Allcomers up to 1300cc, Open Solos/Pre Injection Open races.
Amongst the main pursuers to Daley included Doncaster’s Mark Goodings and Southern 100 winner Richard Charlton who is planning to sample the returning Armoy Road Races.
Outside the 1000cc contests, additional roads scene favourites banking first rate results included Super Twins Race 2, opening 700cc Twins victor Jim Hodson and two stroke machinery specialist Chris Moore, the winner of the opening Super Twins race.
Manx GP/Classic TT regular Jason Lamb was also in action as was Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough stalwart Stephen ‘Degsy’ Degnan.
The next meeting at Darley Moor gets underway just one day after at the Cookstown 100, with competition taking place solely on the 12th September.
