Highly touted real road racers to star at the latest CRMC (Classic Racing Motorcycle Club) round, hosted by Lincolnshire’s BSB venue Cadwell Park included prospective IRRC series newcomer Mark Purslow.
Set to compete for Never Be Clever Racing at the IRRC season opener at Chimay, Purslow’s latest yesteryear racing voyage would yield five class victories, following prominent display’s aboard the Motorcycle Photography FZR 750 Yamaha.
Joining ex Manx GP winner Purslow in taking an array of race wins was 2018 Junior Classic TT victor Dominic Herbertson.
In excellent form again on the Davies Motorsport 350 Honda, 500 Yamaha machines, quadruple overall Classic 350 winner Herbertson at Cadwell Park took his CRMC wins tally for 2021 to 20.
The ever versatile Pete Boast, took today overall Post Classic 750/Super Mono race wins whilst added roads stalwarts securing a prominent result or two included:
Double Class 8A winner from the Formula 750/Superbike/Superstock races, John Dieterman, Post Classic 125 front runner Jamie O’Brien, Alex Sinclair, The Owen’s Hefyn & Meredydd.
Alan Oversby, Wayne ‘Ciderman’ Axon who was due to make his Oliver’s Mount debut at the cancelled Barry Sheene Classic, Leon Murphy, Neil Lloyd, Arthur Browning, BSA pilot ‘Tommy Club’ member Dan Ingham, Will Loder and David Tetley.
